- Sometimes listening to some people talk about certain things (unreciprocated affections, the inability to walk away from damaging things [without good reason], questioning things they already know the answers to) feels like a cavity is forming in my brain, and it stays there, long after the conversation is over, with the cavity eating at parts of my cerebral cortex. To clarify: there are times when I like listening to them. If only because I can be helpful in the matter at hand.
